Maintenance

  Versatile Aviation has been continually engaged in aircraft maintenance for 35 years.  Our staff includes three A&P mechanics; one has inspection authorization.  The combined experience amounts to over seventy years, and as a result we feel fully qualified to deal with a wide range of maintenance related issues.
  Performing Maintenance of the Bell helicopter 47 and 206 series, we have been focusing primarily on our own maintenance the last several years.  Completely refurbishing and overhauling numerous 47 models and completely rebuilding 206 A and B have kept us busy.  Minor maintenance has been effected on Robinson   R-22's, and although Versatile is not currently a repair station for this equipment, it is in our plans for the future.

  Of course we also service our own fixed-wing aircraft.  While our main focus in the maintenance shop has been our own equipment, we occasionally take projects from outside if the situation seems right.  Whit the breadth of mechanical expertise at our command it is probable that if we cannot help you with your problems, we could refer you to someone else who is fair, competent, and reasonable.
  As the backbone of any flying operation is quality maintenance, it is a high priority at Versatile.  From using the best approved parts we can find to safe and efficient shop practice, it is our belief that without a proper maintenance base the aircraft industry would cease to exist.  We accordingly place a high premium on quality assurance in this area.
